Counsel for palintiff stated Dr. Joseph was summoned to attend the oerendanc’s daughter, diagnosing the case as mild rheumatism. The child became worse and he visited her 137 sometimes urgently at night, ether doctors confirmed his diagnoais ami mode of treatment. lhe girl eventually died in hispital. ?ould not understand on what ■rounds the action was defended, as he defendant had spoken favourably ° another doctor of Dr. Joseph’s work. Umjsfi for defendant intimated that ne w oul<l probably consent to judgment fo* the full amount. The case was then adjourned.
