LAND SETTLEMENT
HAMILTON INVESTIGATIONS READY FOR COMMISSION HAMILTON, To-day. A movement is being initiated for investigation of the conditions affecting land settlement in the Waikato district with a view to submitting a report to the Land Settlement League at Auckland in order to present all the aspects of the case to the commission which inquires into the matter.
The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce has interested itself in the movement and intends taking steps to convene a meeting to forward suggestions for the improvement of existing land conditions.
