A FEMALE BURGLAR
JOHNSTON PLEADS GUILTY THEFTS INVOLVING £1,084 Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. A plea of guilty was entered by Jane Ann Johnston in the Supreme Court on a charge of breaking and entering a Te Aro house. The accused was remanded lor sentence, Air. Jaeksui. saying he desired to call evidence on her behalf, anti asking his Honour not to pass sentence today, as he was not ready to call the evidence. Accused is awaiting sentence on four •other charges involving the theft of goods to the value of £ 1,084.
