PROGRESS REPORTS Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, To-day. Taranaki Oilfields report: Waiapu No. 2 well has been drilled to 1,135 feet in grey shale. Water and a little gas was met with from 1,105 to 1,110 feet. The hole was caving so a ten-inch casing was run to 1,3 28 feet. Taranaki No. 3 well is still obstructed from 72 to 77 feet, but progress is now more satisfactory. In Gisborne No. 1 well good progress has been made in the erection of the rig and camp, -but weather is delaying transport.
