Inactivity, or lack of exercise, is almost as bad a fault as muscular overstrain, and doctors are beginning to regard the increase in the number of motor-cars as a bad omen. Employed as watchman in the deserted exhibition grounds at Wembley, Mr. George Beckwith might well be called the loneliest man in London. He lives and sleeps there, his wife and he sharing a small hut.
