SOME ‘ QUIET SURMISING” Before the Waitemata Power Board went into committee to-day. the chairman, Mr. J. W. Hayden, said:—“You may say that the Government is calling a conference of all authorities in this part of the district about the supply from Ho rah ora. It will probably be held in Hamilton in three weeks’ time. The surmises and predictions of our board -will have to be kept quiet in the meantime.”
