CHURCH OF ST. JOHN
NORTHCOTE PARISHIONERS Reduction in the liabilities of the Church of St. John the Baptist, Northcote, has been effected by means of successful bazaars, it was said at the annual meeting of parishioners. The Primate, Archbishop Averill, will take the service on the first Sunday in July, when the duplex system c! giving will replace the present offertory. Officers of the church for the ensuing year are:—Vicar’s warden, Mr. 11. Cadness; people’s warden, Mr. C. A. De.uxberry; vestry, Messrs. A. Taylor, J. Taylor, A. E. Harding, F. H. Woodhouse, F. C. Swinbank, R. Cadness, P. Cross, J. Brown, W. Newman, and P. Minns; secretary, Mr. A. Taylor; treasurer, Mr. C. A. Deuxberry.
