Good Shooting. —ln spite of the inclement weather there was a good attendance at the Auckland Gun Club’s grounds on Saturday, when a series of matches was shot off. The first seven-bird match was won by A. Hannigan (14yds), with 6 kills out of 7. The second prize went to F. H. Seccombe (17yds), with the possible of 7. The third match was also won by F. H. Seccombe (18yds), 7 with 4 out of 6. A. E. Macredie (17yds) won the fourth match with the possible of 5. The high altitude duck competition resulted in a win for A. E. Macredie. Two novelty events, for which two suckingpigs had been donated to the club, were won by A. E. Murphy and A. H. Pellow, respectively.
