A GREAT GIRL

A remarkable goal was witnessed at Carlaw Park on Saturday in the match between City and Richmond. Up to half time the only score standing to City’s credit was a goal by Bass. About midway through the spell, the bail came out to Bass in the Richmond 25, and that player, without dwelling a moment, stopped dead in his tracks and let fly at the posts. The kick was a beauty, and went sailing over the cross-piece with yards to spare. From a back such a kick might not have been out of the way, but for a forward in ticularly fine effort. -h —f— ~r -V? -I? rft fr jj- ryr y -j-r ~r ?!•- -it
