NO DECISION

THE JENKINS CASE DEFERRED TO NEXT SESSION Failing agreement being arrived at by the juries on two different occasions during the present session, William Jenkins, against whom was preferred a charge of carnal knowledge, attended at the Supreme Court this morning, when it was arranged that the future of the case would be determined. Mr. V. Meredith, who appeared for the Crown, stated that up to the present no advice had been received from Wellington in regard to what should be done with the case. His Honour Mr. Justice Stringer said that it would have to stand over until the next session, but it could be called in the meantime if necessary.
