LABOUR LEADER SENT FOR By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright MELBOURNE, Friday. The Victorian State Premier, Mr. John Allan, resigned to-day, and the Governor, Lord Somers, sent for Mr. E. J. Hogan, - Leader of the Labour Party. The interview was in the nature of a consultation, and the Governor will probably see the other Party leaders before handing out a commission, but a Labour Ministry is practically certain.—A. and N.Z.
