THOSE TEPID BATHS

CHRISTCHURCH REPORT HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS (Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Because of the statements made in THE SUN concerning the tepid baths, the Christchurch City Council invited a report from the Health Department, which took samples of the water, Dr. Pearson, Pathologist of the Christchurch Hospital, is now analysing them. Dr. Telford, Medical Officer of Health, visited the baths in company with the City Engineer (Mr. A. R. Galbraith) and as a result he has forwarded recommendations.

The question of a regular inflow of water into the pool, which will provide for a steady overflow from the surface, has probably been dealt with in the report.
