HAMILTON Y.M.C.A.
SHORT OF FUNDS COMMENCING A CAMPAIGN (From Our Oxen Correspondent.) Hamilton, Friday. While a year of progress was recorded at the annual meeting of the Hamilton branch of the Y.M.C.A. and the membership was a record one, the finances for the past year were veryunsatisfactory, there being an adverse balance of £429 Ss 6d, including £273 for depreciation, and necessitating the transfer of an amount from the accumulated fund.
Considerable comment was passed on the means of obtaining more income and the conclusion was arrived at that a big campaign was necessary to wipe off liabilities, and steps will be taken to organise with a view to increasing financial support.
