Mr F. H. Levien, S.M., has transpired his home from Russell to UTiangarei and will take up his permanent residence in the latter town early next week.
Mr A. J. Murdoch, president of the Whangarei Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed a delegate to attend the annual conference of the Auckland Provincial Farmers' Union, opening in Whangarei on the 24th inst. Mr. W. H. Derry, manager of the Perth branch of the Australian Mutual Provident Society, who has been spending a holiday in New Zealand, left for Australia by the Marama yesterday.
