PROFITS AFFECTED CANADIAN DUMPING Press Association DUNEDIN, Thursday. The directors of the New Zealand Paper Mills, in the annual report, state that sales were well maintained, but in part of the year, severe competition from the dumping of Canadian paper and other factors militated against
more profitable operations. After making provision for all bad and doubtful debts, depreciation and income tax. and after deducting the interim dividend. £4,500, the amount available for distribution is £9,589 9s Id. The directors recommend a dividend at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum, absorbing £4,500, and that the balance of £ 5,089 9s Id be carried forward.
