LAST YEAR’S BUSINESS OVER THIRTY THOUSAND PROFIT (From Our Reside.nt Reporter.) WELLINGTON, To-day. A-fresh record has been created ia the amount of Public Trust Office business for the year which ended oa March 31 last. According to a survey by the Prime Minister to-day the value of estates and funds under administration at the beginning of the year was £ 38,009,480. At the end it was £41,043,523, an increase of £3,034,043. The value of estates entrusted to the Public Trust during the year waa £5,557,019, an increase of £599,572. Net profits were £32,650. Expenses ! for the year, excluding depreciation, were £226,103. Investments made during the year amounted to £2,812,643, making » total invested on March 31, 1927, of £25,495,626.
