THE GRAND
“THE NIGHT OF LOVE” Coming from the Majestic Theatre, the United Artists release, “The Night of Love” will commence to-day at the Grand Theatre. Ronald Colman and Vilma Banky. who have played the roles of lovers in three films which have achieved fame, head the cast. Colman appears in a role new to him. that of a bold gipsy bandit, while Miss Banky is an ideal type for the beautiful Princess Marie of France. The story told concerns a young gipsy prince Montero, who swears a terrible vengeance against the cruel Duke de la Garda. To carry his threat into effect he turns bandit, plundering and robbing the countryside, but wherever he goes he is beloved by the common people, whom he n- harms. The manner in which . finally achieves his aim provides pictorial enter! inment of a high order. Great credit is due to the photographers who have carried to the screen in a most admirable manner the glamour and romance of old Spain. A good supporting programme will also be shown.
