TIVOLI THEATRE

“THE ACE OF CADS” When Adolphe Menjou comes to the Tivoli Theatre to-night he will be cast as the “Ace of Cads.” This is a picturisation of the famous short story written by Michael Arlen, author of “The Green Hat” and “These Charming People.” The character, that of Chapell Maturin, who will not kiss a woman unless she wants him to kiss her. is suitable to the able histrionic abilities of the suave Menjou. Supporting Mr. Menjou are such wellknown artists as Alice Joyce, Norman Trevor and Philip Strange. Suzanne Fleming, 18, a blue-eyed brunette, plays an important part as Alice Joyce’s daughter. It is her first major screen role, but Director Luther Reed and Mr. Menjou seem confident that it will not be her last.
