NGAWATI’S FINISH
dies on boat homeward BOUND (Special to THE St'.V.) GISBORXE. To-day. The three-year-old gelding Ngawati (Autumn —Blue Sea), owned by Mr n J Barry, died on the boat between papier and Gisborne to-day, from unknown causes. Ngawati had several fine performances. and showed great promise. In his first year 1925-26. he was placed times in nine starts, opening his career in the Nursery Handicap at Pllershe. and his latest success was at the recent Hastings meeting. The loss to his owner is a heavy one.
