Acting under medical advice, the ex-AII Black forward, will not play football this year. Laurie missed the All Black tour in 1924, but got his New Zealand cap in the following year. Last year, his younger brother, “Bubs” Knight, was one of the best forwards on the New Zealand team's Australian tour, and should be well in the running for a trip to South Africa.
