SOCIAL EVENING

AT AVONDALE On Monday evening a charming little social evening was given by the Mayor of Avondale, Mr. Herbert Tiarks, and Mrs. Tiarks, in the Avondale Town Hall, when a number of Mr. Tiarks’s supporters in the recent election campaign were entertained. During the evening dancing was indulged in, and a number of delightful vocal and elocutionary items were contributed by Miss Laura Walker and Miss Alice Kealy. The accompaniments were played by Miss Lilian Quinn.
