THIS AUTUMN DAY
Tired! For a little space We creep away To watch old Nature’s face This autumn daj\ She’s in a mother-mood: Her eyes are kind. As if she understood The roads we wind! She croons a lullaby With rest inspired: “ Tarry awhile with me, You’re tired—just tired!”
