What boy can’t build a toy sailing boat? THE SUN, by special arrangement with Paramount Pictures, is offering two cash prizes of £ 10 and £ 5 for the best models of "Old Ironsides," a frigate of the period of ISOO. A romance of battle action and adventure is woven about the sailing frigate, “Old Ironsides," as depicted in the Paramount picture of that name. It was “Old Ironsides” that won the battle of Tripoli in 1803 against the African pirates who were exacting tribute from great nations and capturing seamen on the high seas. The winning models will be exhibited at the leading theatres when “Old Ironsides” is shown there in the near future. SIZE OF MODELS Instructions and specifications have already been given in THE SUN. Although models can be made any size they should be no less than 'these measurements, between 20in. and 30in.

To-day’s picture shows “Old Iron-sides”-and fifty sailing frigates, as they appear in the battle in the film. For the first time in the history of motion pictures radio broadcasting was employed when James Cruze directed the action of these ships. This was necessary to obtain accurate movements of the old-time ships. Reprints of previous articles can be obtained on application at the counter, SUN office.
