An American woman, Mrs. Sarah Rubeo, aged 25, saved lierself from certain injury and possible death by a feat of strength worthy of a circus acrobat. The woman, while hanging clothes from a window on the fourth floor of her home in New York, lost her balance and fell out. In falling her hands reached a building sft across an alley, while her feet remained in contact with the one from which she had fallen. She managed, by pushing out with both hands and feet, to wedge herself in a horizontal position between the two buildings, 25ft above the ground. She remained stretched preariously between the two structures until a man reached through a window and pulled her in.
