FATAL SCALDS

LITTLE BOY’S DEATH Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. Fatal scalds were received by the 15-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Hine, of Tikorangi. The father put a bucket of boiling water into a kerosene tin in the shed and the child either sat back into the tin or fell into it. The father at once lifted the child out and took his clothes off, but he was badly scalded about the arms and thigh. Medical attention was sought and the little boy was removed to a private hospital, where he died.
