Confirmation of last week’s advice regarding the altered position of the London butter market has been received by the Auckland office of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd. Under date May 7 the company has received the following cable:

“Anchor” butter, 154 sto 1565; unsalted, 1665; market steady and slightly* firmer notwithstanding the slump in Danish, which is now* 150 s f.o.b. Cheese, 82s; market improved. The Danish f.o.b. quotation is equal to approximately* 157 s on the London market. The output of Canadian cheese is reported to be below normal this year on account of the increased demand for cream from the United States.
