AUSTRALIAN EVENTS By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 10 a.m. HOBART, To-day. The eight-oared championship of Australia for the King's Cup was won by West Australia, with New South Wales second and Victoria third. Owing to the stormy conditions the race had to be postponed and finished in the semi-darkness. The sculling championship was won comfortably by R. Pearce, New South Wales, from Cambridge, Victoria, second and March, Tasmania, third. —A. and N.Z.
