LONDONER’S VIOLET SUIT!

London churchgoers were startled one Sunday last month by an advocate of the “brighter fashions for men” movement.

This man, the centre of attraction wherever he went, wore a violet suit, probably the brightest thing in men’s wear seen in the city for many years.

Colour was the only startling: feature about the suit, as it was otherwise made on quite conventional lines. But it certainly made one speculate as to whether the wearer might one day pass unobserved among the crowds of city men with their rainbow-coloured clothes. He may be n pioneer in one of those revolutions which have marked fashion history.
