SENIOR SOMERVILLE BEATS VARSITY The standard of play in the Somer-•ville-Varsity contest was most creditable. There was very little between the two teams and it was only the better combination of Somerville that enabled them to take advantage of opportunities in the circle. For the winners Miss Goldsbro was outstanding, although the whole back line must be given credit for their combination. Varsity played with plenty of dash, but wild hitting threw away certain goals. training college and y.w.c.a. DRAW As the scores indicate this was an evenly contested game. Good clean open play ruled throughout, and very creditable stickwork was displayed by one or two individual players indicatmg a sound knowledge of tactics. College backs were sound and play for the most part was confined to Y W C A territory. Miss Bilham was the out-' standing player for College, while Misses Mason and McLaughlan were prominent for the Y.W.
