Mary Pickford issued an order to keep everyone away and John Barrymore let it be known that he wanted no intrusion of any kind whatsoever while he enacted his roles. Harry Langdon had a big sign painted —“Stay Out! This Means YOU!” The desire of out-of-towners to see Dolores Costello and Louise Fazenda caused Warner Brothers to close the gates with the avowed intention of keening them closed.
