TOWN HALL
MUNICIPAL CONCERT A programme of a particularly varied character has been arranged for the municipal concert in the Town Hall to-night. Miss Margaret Stoddart will play the first movement of a concerto by Vivaldi, a noted violinist of the sixteenth century, some of whose work for strings are still prized. The city organist’s contributions will include Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in D, one of the most brilliant of his organ works, and Miss Ina Thomson will sing songs by Mallinson and Giordani. In addition the programme will include a number of light and popular pieces.
