HEART ON WRONG SIDE

A surgical operation on a schoolboy living in the village of Seethal, in the Canton of Argovie, Switzerland, has revealed an abnormal appendix situated on the left instead of the right side of the body. The boy complained of violent pains in the left side of his stomach, and appendicitis was not at first suspected. Surgeons found the diseased organs were displaced, and that the heart.was on the right side of the body. The operation was delicate and difficult, but was successful. The boy is recovering.
