CRUISE OF DIOMEDE PRACTICE IN THE GULF PROGRAMME OF DATES (From Our Resident Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The programme of movements which has been arranged for H.M.S. Diomede during the vessel’s operations in the North is outlined below: Depart from Auckland on May 23 for Hauraki Gulf for gunnery and torpedo exercises till June 2, when the ship will return to Auckland. After leaving Auckland on June 13, the Diomede will call at the following places: Rarotonga.—Arrive Saturday, June IS, leave Saturday, June IS. Aitutaki.—Sunday, June 19; Sunday, June 19.
Bora Bora.—Tuesday, June 21; Thursday June 23.
Tahiti.—Thursday, June 23; Wednesday. June 29. Nukuhiva.—Saturday, July 2; Wednesday, July 6. Caroline Island.—Friday, July 8; Friday, July S. Vostock, Nassau, will be visited for a short time if weather admits.
Penrhyn Island. —Sunday, July 10; Sunday, July 10.
Manahiki Island.—Monday, July 11; Monday, July 11. Apia.—Wednesday, July 13; Monday, July IS. Pago Pago.—Monday, July IS; Fridav, July 22. Suva.—Monday, July 25; Thursday. August 4.
Vavau.—Saturday, August 6; Monday August 8.
Nukualofa.—Tuesday, August 9; Saturday, August 13.
Auckland.—Arrive Wednesday, August 17.
