YOUTH LOSES EYE
KNIFE SLIPPED Press Association WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A youth, Fred Tretheway, residing in Nelson Street, Petone, met with a painful accident during his work. He was engaged in cutting some wire when the knife slipped and injured one of his eys. He was removed to the hospital immediately and it was found necessary to remove the eye. His condition is reported as favourable.
