GRAND THEATRE
HAROLD LLOYD AND MAX LINDER An excellent double-feature progrjfmme will be screened at the Grand Theatre for the first time to-day. Harold Lloyd, perhaps the most popular of the screen’s comedians, will appear in “Hot Water,” a good, clean comedy, full of action and interest. The story deals with the domestic life of Harold and his bride. His mother-in-law and her sons are frequent visitors to the household of the young couple. Much humour is caused by the efforts of Harold to rid himself of his wife’s relatives for at least one afternoon. The opportunity comes when husband and wife decide to try out their new motor-car, but they reckon without their relatives, wno insist on accompanying them. The maiden journey of the car proves most exciting, the most amazing escapades being witnessed. Most of the action is made hilarious by the eccentricities of the motor-car, and the manner in which it is manipulated is something to remember. The second feature is “Seven Years’ Bad Luck,” starring Max Linder.
