However, the popular phrase with light harness enthusiasts and excursionists in this province just now is 'We re off to Cambridge in the morning. it is not difficult to discern the reason of the rush to the picturesque town m the Waikato, as the public have been kept well posted through the columns of THE SUN that the annual trotting meeting of the progressive country club will take place to-morrow, when it is anticipated that the day will prove one of pleasure to the patrons and profit to the club. “Off to Cambridge” suggests a journey bristling with enjoyment, a day spent in the bracing and invigorating atmosphere of the country, an exciting day’s trotting in which all are privileged to participate, and last, but not least, an opportunity to partake of the hospitality of the club, for which it has earned, among its other excellent characteristics, a wide reputation.
