DATES RECOMMENDED The Auckland District Committee yesterday decided to recommend the following dates for next season for approval by the Dates Committee of the conference: Aug. 20—Pakuranga Hunt. Sept. 24, 26—Avondale Jockey Club. Oct. 13, 15—Whangarei Racing Club. Oct. 22, 24—Waikato Racing Club. Oct. 29, 31—Thames Jockey Club. Nov. 5, 7—Auckland Racing Club. Nov. 26, 28 —Takapuna Jockey Club. Dec. 3—Taumarunui Racing Club. Dec. 15, 17—Dargaville Racing Club. / Dec. 10—Waipa Racing Club. Dec. 26, 28—Auckland Racing Club. 1928 Jan. 2, 3—Auckland Racing Club. Jan. 14—Waipapakauri Racing Club. Jan. 21—Bay of Islands Racing Club. Jan. 28, 30—Takapuna Jockey Club. Feb. 4—Matamata Racing Club. Feb. 11, 13—Rotorua Racing Club. Feb. 25, 27—Te Aroha Jockey Club. March 3, s—Te Kuiti Racing Club. March 7—Opotiki Jockey Club. March 10 Franklin nacmg Club. March 14, 17—Ohinemuri Jockey Club. March 24—Bay of Plenty Jockey Club. March 31—Whangarei Racing Club. April 7, 9—Auckland Racing Club. April 14, 18—Avondale Jockey Club. April 28, 30—Waikato Racing Club. June 3,5, 7—Auckland Racing Club. The Waikato Hunt is to be asked to select a fresh date for its meeting to fall during the hunting season.
