The result of the election of officers of the New Zealand Workers’ Union, recently conducted by ballot, was announced to-day by the general secretary', Mr. A. Cook: National president, Mr. C. E. Baldwin (Christchurch 1: national vicepresidents, Messrs. A. Brown (Christchurch), J. Whyte (Wellington): general secretary', Mr. A. Cook (Wellington). All elected unopposed. Delegates to the Alliance of Labour conference, Messrs. C. E. Baldwin (Christchurch), J. Whyte (Wellington); executive council, Messrs. A. J. Middlemiss (.Gore), IL Eddy (Waimate), A. Meighan (Christchurch), R. Tutaki (Femhill), J. Thom (Wairoa), H. J. Walters (Mount Maunganui); organisers, Messrs. C. E. Baldwin (Christchurch). J. Donnelly (Greytown), J. G. Leckie (Timaru), A. J. Middlemiss (Gore), A. O’Kan* (Gore), J. Townsend (Wanganuii, J. Whyte (Wellington), W. Wallace (Napier), J. B. Williams (Auckland). Delegates to 1927 conference, Messrs. M. J. Hickey (Balfour), D. N.
