CAR SMASHED WHEN STEERING LOCKS
PLUNGES INTO BANK (From Our Own Correspondent .) HAMILTON, To-day. An accident, fortunately not attended with serious results, occurred last night. When a heavy car, driven by Len Faville, was approaching the traffic bridge the steering gear locked and the car failed to turn, mounting the footpath and crashing into a bank at the head of the bridge. Both front wheels were knocked off and other minor damage dcfcie, but the driver escaped unhurt. Several pedestrians luckily dodged ,out of the car’s track.
