CONFERENCE WITH PRIME MINISTER (From Our Resident Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, will be visited by the wheat interests on Wednesday morning. It is believed that those who represented their case to Mr. Coates during his recent visit to the South will approach him and discuss the whole position, mainly from the point of view of tariff, with him, in the form of a round table conference. Hauraki. —The mine manager advised yesterday that the 220 level is now clear of water. LUCKY SHOT. —Under date April o 0 the manager reports:—“Work in the mine for the last week has been confined to sinking on No. 3 reef. We are down a distance of 10ft. In the foot-wall portion the quartz broken out showed strong gold.” GOLDEN AGE. —Under date April 30 the manager reports:—“The rise on footwall of Golden Age reef has been extended a further distance of sft. for the week. The quartz looks well. The crosscut has been cleaned out up .to the face. The survey was completed on Saturday. When we have the surveyor's plan, we will then try to pick up the No. 1 reef running into the property from the Lucky Shot mine.”
