QUITE UNNECESSARY
When Mr. Stanley Reid was attending the Rotary conference in Adelaide an amplifier boomed out, “Stan Reid fined 2s for coming all the way from New Zealand!” As I handed over the two shillings I said, 'And a very fine little country, too,” said Mr. Reid, at to-day's Rotary luncheon. “Immediately the answer came, ‘Stan. Reid fined another 2s for unnecessary comment.”
