Half the money will be spent on railways. The Minister of Finance made that announcement to-day. Last, year's issue was at £95 lbs. The return to investors on the present loan with redemption will be £5 0? 1 ■-•d per cent, compared with £ 5 is 6d per cent on i last year’s loan. The proceeds will be allocated to railway constructions, additions and improvements, hydro-electrical development telegraph extension and other public works.
