A GOOD SOUP FOR CONVALESCENTS
Put three-quarters of a pint of milk into a saucepan with half an ounce of powdered gelatine, stir till hot; then add one egg well beaten and cook for one minute without allowing to boil. Add to this one glass of white wine with sugar to taste, and a few drops of essence of cinnamon, and serve. A gill of cream added before the sugar and essence is a great improvement.
