SATURDAY’S DANCES
AT THE REGENT The rich, vivid colourings of the charming frocks worn by the fair, or fairer element at the attractive Regent Ballroom on Saturday evening, were delightfully complemented by the subdued tonings of the tasteful decorations that are such a pleasing attribute of this popular cabaret. THE MUSICAL BOX “ Full of vim and pep,” to use a convenient Americanism, aptly described the Musical Box Cabaret on Saturday Evening. GOLF DANCE BRIGHT EVENING AT TITIRANGI Following the opening day competition, in which the"* combined fo*rces of the men’s and ladies’ clubs were directed in an attack against Colonel Bogey, Titirangi members were entertained by the president and his wife, the lady captain (Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Taylor) at afternoon tea on Saturday afternoon. Members and friends later reassembled at the capacious club-house for dinner, following the cusromaiy dance was held in the evening. The putting green was brilliantly illuminated, but the evening was so chilly that the dance-room, bridge tables and fires proved much greater attractions. A very bright function resulted. Among those present were Mrs. Lawrence Taylor, Miss M. Napier (lady secretary), Mesdames C. Findlay. Roy Dufaur, W. J. Rodger, Rex George, R. McCrystal, E. Napier, H. W. Cooke, J. Stewart, R. O.
