C -W PATRICK STEAMER.— CapJames Patrick is to leave Sydney abroad within a few weeks to supervise the building of a new steamer for the Patrick Company, reports “The Harbour.’' The vessel is now under construction by John Lewis and Sons, Ltd., Aberdeen, and will shortlv be < >mpleted. She is of 1,500 tons deadweight. and is expected to be in commission between Sydney and Melbourne next July. Construction is being carried out to Lloyd’s 100A1 reJ quirements, and she will have a speed 1 of 12 knots.
