According to Claire Windsor, whose clothes are always in perfect taste, both in her pictures, and on the street, the most effective gowns are those that have just the right kind of contrast. “The thing that takes a woman out of the mediocre class and puts her into the truly chic class,” says Miss Windsor, “is a knowledge of just the right kind of accessories that create a correct contrast. I am never without a number of bouquets of various shades and colours. When I can find nothing else to lend a pleasing contrast I make use of one of these.” This star is now playing the feminine role in “A Little Journey,” in which William ITaines and Harry Carexv have prominent parts.
