FIGURES INCREASED AUCKLAND’S TOTAL 8,860 Press Association WELLINGTON, Saturday. The re-issuing of radio licences has been proceeding since March 31, and it is expected that all applications will be completed shortly. Already last year’s figures have been exceeded. Auckland: Receiving licences 8,860; dealers’ licences 405; Christchurch, 4,410 and 195; Dunedin, 1,584 and 109; Wellington, 3,346 and 478.
