WAITEMATA POWER BOARD The results in the Power Board election, official and- provisional, are now as follow: SUCCESSFUL Pro- Divisional. Official. ference.

The large error in the count was not due to mistake in the first count, but to an error in transmitting the results over the telephone. The number of informal votes was 431, mostly due to leaving too many names on the paper. CITY MAYORALTY The official recount in the city mayoralty increased Mr. Baildon’s total by 143 and Mr. Bloodworth’s by 22. Mr. Warnock lost 12 and Mr. Schmidt gained 30. The council recount has been commenced and will probably be completed on Monday. The very large number of informal votes is also due mainly to insufficient names being struck off. Haslam as one of the three representatives of the North Ward. In the provisional count Mr. Haslam was credited with 233 votes and Mr. Manning with 232.
