OMNIBUSES FOR OFFICERS
When travelling at public expense English Army officers must ride in omnibuses if the journey can be performed as efficiently as by private motor-car. In future, states an Aldershot Command order, expenses will be paid on the basis of the cost of the journey by the cheapest means of conveyance ’ available.
