CHARLIE IN MUSICAL COMEDY?
Reed. 2.10 p.m. LONDON Friday. Mr. Harry Day, M.P.. has cabled Charlie Chaplin guaranteeing a salary of £750 weekly for 20 weeks if he will take the character of Bunty in the musical play “The Mountaineers” to be produced in September.
